Alexia (Click here for picture link) - IC:
Alexia’s chest heaved. Every breath burned, yet she could not risk slowing her pace now. Hands on her skirts as she attempted to hold them free of the undergrowth, she shut her mind to the pain the uneven surface wrought on her feet. Not for the first time, she berated herself for her late decision to flee. She had been locked in fearful indecision until it was almost too late and then she had fled for her life!
She strained her ears to try to identify the sounds which she was sure were pursuing her, but she could not tell whether horse or hound or feet followed her, much less make out what numbers she might be attempting to evade. A hasty glance behind reassured her that no one and nothing was in sight, but that action was to prove her downfall.
What she hit, or what snared her dress, Alexia could not tell, all she knew was that she went hurtling forward her sharp cry seemingly absorbed within the density of the trees around her and seemed to fly through the air to until coming to earth with a thud, the impact hard enough to knock the breath and consciousness from her temporarily. Only as her senses began to clear, did Alexia become aware of the pain shooting through her body … and the fact that she was no longer alone ….

Somehow Alexia has escaped an as yet unidentified peril and somehow crossed from her (Fairy tale) world into your reality. Your character is about to come across her in the woods or in fact has witnessed her attempt to escape who or whatever is chasing her and/or fall. Who you are or in fact if you wish to write multiple characters is up to you as is your reaction to this girl who has been displaced from everything she knows and to whom the modern world will be totally alien.
If you have an idea of how to continue this tale of fairy tale meeting modern contemporary setting then PM an outline of your character and perhaps an idea of how he will react to Alexia - without giving too much away of your projected plot/dynamic.
This idea is wide open, so .... drop me a line if interested ...
