Creating a Character​

Seek permission to join:

• Before you create your first CS (character sheet), PM me.
• Otherwise, without a full explanation of the RP's direction, you won't fully understand what the hell is happening, will you?
• Characters posted without invitation will be ignored.

• PLEASE quote this CS form and use it so that the format and layout of all CSs will be similar.
• You do NOT have to be as detailed or informative with your character as I will be with my own character(s).
• I can be a bit anal sometimes, so I spend a lot of time creating and updating my CSs.

• 26 years old
• Caucasian; mixed ethnic heritage.
• 5'6", 126 lbs, 36C-26-36
• Dark brunette hair, slightly wavy; reaches to mid-back, but it is usually worn in a French braid or pony tail.
• Green-hazel eyes.

PERSONALITY:

• She is confident in her abilities.
• At the same time, she is well aware of the difference between what she can and cannot do.
• She's initially shy with people she doesn't know, but becomes more bold as time passes.
• Skilled in her work as an electrician.
• Intelligent and sensible.
• Sexually open; likes men and women both.
• She is resentful for having been refused an Officers Corps position on DST-14, as explained further below.

BACKGROUND:

• Born and raised in the United States.
• Excelling in science and math, she graduated high school at 14 and received a scholarship to MIT.
• After receiving her BS and then her Masters, both in Electrical Engineering fields, she joined the construction crew of the New Terra Project, working specifically on the final construction phase of Deep Space Transport 14.
• She applied for an Officers Corps position on DST-14, but without the obligatory political and/or financial connections, she settled for Enlisted Crew.

Uniforms

Dress Uniforms -- Seen in the picture above

• Worn by Officers almost all the time.
• Worn by Enlisted when assigned to a stationary Duty Station, such as the Bridge.
• Includes metal pin insignia on the right collar indicating Rank.
• Although not seen in the image above, also includes metal pin insignia on the left collar indicating the Department (Command, Medical, Engineering, etc.)

Work Uniforms

• Same cut and style as above except that they are a solid brown with some minimal white trim.
• Worn by Enlisted except as indicated above and below.
• Worn by Officers when they are actively performing duties (ie, maintenance) which could mean getting dirty.
• Includes the same insignia as Dress Uniforms except that they are cloth and sewn to the fabric.
• Same for the left side Department insignia.

Coveralls

• One piece cut with a zipper from chest to groin.
• Same styling/color arrangement as the Work Uniforms.
• Worn by Enlisted while doing any sort of maintenance, clean up, etc.
• Worn by Officers for the same purposes.
• Includes the same cloth insignia as Work Uniforms

• Black, for simplicity's sake: none of her grandparents were full blooded anything, and none of them had the same racial or ethnic makeup of any of the others; she often jokes That the black in me stands tall and casts a dark shadow over the rest of what makes me me.
• 5'8", 132 lbs, 34B-24-34
• Black hair, kinky-curly; worn in 6 cornrows close to the scalp that terminate in two inch long braids pulled tight into a pony tail.
• Deeply brown eyes.

PERSONALITY:

• She is confident, even cocky.
• Bold and extroverted.
• Skilled and highly educated as both a Medic and a Medical Scientist.
• Intelligent and sensible.
• Lesbian, and not shy about it.

BACKGROUND:

• Born in France; raised initially in the US and later in the UK.
• Knew she wanted to be a doctor from an early age.
• She excelled in primary school, graduating High School at just 15.
• She initially began her University education at MIT, where she met Alice Hooper. They became friends and sometimes lovers.
• After 2 years at MIT, she received a scholarship to Oxford's Medical College.
• She got her degree there and -- while serving in a London Emergency Room -- continued her education in Medical Research.
• All the while, she remained good friends with Alice Hooper and -- with a lot of travel by over The Pond -- continued their on again, off again intimate relationship.
• After receiving her Doctorate and learning that Alice was applying for a position on DST-14, she applied for a position as a Medic.
• She was accepted without even interviewing, given an Officer's rank of Ensign.
