OOC: Casting/Nightmare Cafe.

A small cafe run by three souls caught between this world and the next, proudly serving mankind with hot coffee and second chances 24 hours a day. They do their job, they get to stick around and help unsuspecting customers turn their lives around. 'Course, anything can happen to those who wander in - their worst nightmares, or their forbidden dreams. Yeah, it all happens here...in this little place we call the Nightmare Cafe.

Any intrest in a thread like this?

Th idea I had in mind for this thread is that only the three in the cafe stick around, and players come through, have whatever sort of problem they have solved, then get to go on their way, to what ever they're destined for...

I need a cook and a waitress for the cafe though...

And a line up of people who need helping...

Right... well, my character concept was in fact an agent of Hell; he hangs around the cafe trying to buy the souls of desperate patrons (ie, the reverse of what the owners are doing). They don't turf him out (although they'd like to) because then Hell would be pissed off. They have made him swear never to use violence (or violent magic) in the cafe, although he wouldn't in any case, as swearing your soul away under threat "doesn't count". Would that work with your idea?

ALRIGHTY! Ok, I've read the link to the TV series.... very cool concept! Any chance the cafe can drop in to pick up Felicity - She's currently running around in a western zombie shoot-out on the ORP thread Valley of Shadow. Since the front door of the cafe is apparently usually near a waterfront, perhaps I could come in the back door. Felicity was also in the thread Mystic West. She's got a recurring problem with the undead, a guilty concience over killing her husband, and morals of negotiable value. She's also a crack shot and may well be pregnant to her sometime lover Statler.
There is a map of the Valley of Shadow I believe Felicity is currently between houses 27 & 28.
It'd be cool if you can drop in to pick her up.

Hybirdx, your character really doesn't have the right feel for this thread, its supposed to be modern day, with a super natural bent... I don't really see how Ninja's fit in... But you can always try to convince me...
