Here's a thread for any hardcore fantasy fans out there... I know I'm one of them. Here's my plan for the plot basics
The races are middle earth based: Elves(different races), dwarves(different clans), Halflings(meadow, and woodland), Dryads, etc. I am also interested in seeing the unique races you might come up, so send them in. Dragons, supernatural creatures, and dark characters/races are all NPCs
A brief history: Over the millenia, the races have built civilizations, and are independent of one another. But a dark wizard named Morgoth plans on conquering the world and starts a 200 year war by wiping out the Fortress of Sildamir (city of the Grey Elves) and all who live there.
Now I have two ideas on what to do for the thread. One story takes place about five thousand years later. The war is over and civilization has been restored. But Morgoth is back and is amassing his forces to start another war. My character is on a quest to stop them.
The other option is to create a thread about the great war. it would be purely improvised as we go along, but it could turn out very interesting.
So, post your resumes and let's make a thread!
