Would anyone be interested in an A.V.P. thread where to survive, the alien xenomorphs use an intergalactic zoo/hunter's preserve ship ran by predators?

From watching AVPR, it would seem that whatever the aliens use as a host, they take at least a third of their dna for their own... Imagine how fucked up an elephant/alien hybrid would be? And it doesn't have to be limited to just our real world animals... Going a step further, imagine what a displacer beast/alien hybrid, or for that matter, a drider/alien one would be like?

I wouldn't be against an AVP, Hunters Planet Scenario (there is actually already a book on this, and turns out pretty good.

Really? Whats the title of it Sean?

Plus, do you have any suggestions for such a thread?

It's called Aliens vs Predator: Hunter's Planet. Do you want a summary?

I think you start by getting a few people together as preds we need more than two I think for it to be interesting. Here's what I say we use as basis.

There is a planet we'll call is XR-38 for the moment. This planet is terraformed for the sole purpose of big game hunting. To that purpose creatures from all over the galaxy are brought and released, in addition to that animals long extinct are cloned. You want to hunt a Tyranasaurus? For million we'll clone one, you want it to be 50% bigger and with increased brain mass? We can do that too. How bout a pack of dire wolves? In addition to your animal that you are hunting there are of course other animals, things that have escaped their hunters, things that other people are hunting, etc. It is frowned on to kill any animal you didn't pay for, but obviously if it it's a life or death situation kill it. So right there we've got a justification for pretty much anything we want. Very few humans actually live here full time for obvious reasons.

Predators decide to use this planet for their blooding ceremony not knowing the inhabitants. (Think the basic premise of the first AVP movie just sans a hokey temple, they are just going to drop a a pod to the planet with a queen and a few drones, wait a week and there will be senior hunters in addition to the students. Things are gonna get out of hand though cus most planets have a large number of docile creatures. Sheep, cows, horses, people. So the aliens are rather predictable. A plannet that is dominated by the most vicious predators of all space and time, well we get some real monster Aliens.

We should probably have one player who is controlling all of the Aliens and this is kind of the driving force behind the story, but that only works if we get enough players. I would say another player gets to control all of the humans (unless we get people wanting to play individual humans.) That way both of the other groups are movign around they don't need to be active, least not all the time but it can't just be Predators running around.

If this thread is still an interest I'm sure now that I bumped it with my post some people might be interested as I think this should make out an interesting story.

If it's still running count me in

I believe I read the book in question. It was a planet on the edge of human space where there was a lot of illegal cloning taking place. They made dinosaurs and all manner of creatures for humans to hunt (known animals). They also created Alien/Predator hybrids from genetic material they found in a crash space craft. Imagine Aliens that had arms and the brains to handle weapons. It included a Japanese female martial artist who'd hunted with the Predators. Very different setup than the first AVP movie...though I did enjoy it.
