These banks and credit card companies that keep pulling their support for adult content are running scared from the threat of public outrage drummed up by religious anti-porn crusaders, and I think that should make everyone a bit nervous.

Pornhub had to change their sop because it turned out they were hosting a shitload of illegal content.

It was 118 videos over the course of 3 years out of 7 million. Facebook during that time self reported 84 million illegal videos, but nobody is coming after Facebook's money because this movement is being led by people who hate porn, not child abuse.

A private owned company can do what they want. Why are so many Americans (Fascist traitors) against this basic premise?

If a credit card company says we choose not to be associated with this type of behavior...that is their right. If the company using the credit card company feels it is in their best interest to placate the credit card company so they can keep using that privilege...that too is their right. End of story.

Have been under a mask mandate since April of 2020.
Vaccine passports start Sept 1st.
If you aren’t vaccinated, you will be out of luck for dining out, non essential businesses and venues.

Yes I do. I am vaccinated and wear a mask when necessary. Which lately is any public space that’s not outside.

Absolutely. 100%. I refuse to work with anyone not vaccinated. And since I own my own company...guess what...I can dictate shit like that.
 
The situation OnlyFans is in is similar to Pornhub's dilemma, with one important difference. Pornhub screwed up in several ways. Bad videos allowed on site. I suppose "revenge porn", or unauthorized posting of people's photos without their consent were a large part of this. They also allowed malware- loaded videos on their site. I complained to them several times about this. Good thing my malware software kept my machine from being taken over. Never had this kind of problem with any other adult website. Their response was basically.. ho, hum.
Oh, and part of Pornhub's response to their transgressions was to ban downloading of videos from their site- which was one of the redeeming features they had. Ah, well.
So, they screwed up, and the credit companies spanked them.
Unless I missed something, OnlyFans is being spanked by the credit purveyors just because they don't want to be associated with any company that has as a part of their business, sexual content. By adults, for adults.
This is an ominous note. Could be a wave of oppression coming for any adult-oriented business. I'm sure they all use electronic payment processing, in one form or another. I hope I'm wrong about this, but the trend looks ominous to me.
I would submit that there needs to be some innovation in electronic banking, so that there is an alternative to the few big companies who rule the roost. So that the corporate prejudices against adult content don't end up censoring a whole lot of people's totally legitimate work right out of existence.
This would help the cannabis industry as well. They have been forced to take unusual measures to get around the bank's unwillingness to do business with them. Another example of the financial center censoring us for what they consider "bad behavior".
