Only in America ... could people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when they have a black President, a black Attorney General and roughly 20% of the federal workforce is black while only 14% of the population is black. 40+% of all federal entitlements goes to black Americans – 3X the rate that go to whites, 5X the rate that go to Hispanics!
 
Another valid point which continues to negate the purpose of this alt (to appear "stupid").

That's the federal gov., and they discriminate heavily for black people. Some local governments might discriminate against them, but I don't know of any. .

I remember complaining about affirmative action when it becomes set-asides or racial or gender discrimination, but I don't remember any facts being presented to disprove my contentions.

I said they MIGHT. There are tens of thousands of local governments in the USA, and I don't pretend to know the racial policies of all of them.

I linked the exact law and regulations that proved your point entirely false. There are no quotas of racial set asides. They're not in the law, they don't exist. You read what I showed you and insisted - and *still insist - that facts don't matter.

Let's say she employs between 0 and 75,000 people. That makes things easy for you since you can now link your race quota law for any and all sizes of businesses.

If you next post is anything but the imaginary law itself, you're finished.

I know what the law says, and I also know that part of the law is ignored. I hope you are not naïve enough to believe all laws are always followed. What happens is this: The EEOC and/or the courts say something like: "15% of the people in this area are black; therefore you must hire more black people until you meet that percentage." That would be a quota. So the employer, although there are not enough black people who are able to do the technical work, hires them anyhow and classifies and pays them as if they were. By so doing, the company is able to stay in business and bid on government contracts.

Of course, they don't admit this, but it is common knowledge.

Another thing is with professional schools. They are required to enroll a certain percentage of black students, so they accept the best black applicants until they have reached that percentage and fill in the rest of the class with the best non-black applicants. What this means is that better-qualified whites and Asians are passed by in the name of Affirmative Action. Sometimes people have sued the school to try for fair treatment, but it is usually an expensive and fruitless endeavor.

I could dig up examples, but they would be anecdotal, because nobody would be honest enough to keep track of such things.
