You're doing an either or argument when I myself am proof that your reasoning is flawed.

You say only fascists are patriots: incorrect.

I am a patriot and I am not fascist by any means. Neither am I a "Globalist" for that matter, but never-the-less I am still a patriot.

So sit down and take a long moment to think over the flaw in your argument here.

Yeah, okay. Umh, reverse logic. Only poodles are dogs, because dogs are mammals, but labrador retrievers aren't mammals.

Uhm, no. Fascism is a special kind of nationalism, which claims divine right over the inferiors, and immunity to earthly prosecution because of it. Basically, they can murder, rape, and invade their neighbors, because they're not as human, and don't deserve such rights. (Okay, the "Divine" here is variable. Hitler for example claimed to be Lutheran, while still praising Goebbels for using Teutonic pagan symbolism, so long as it served both of their radical agendas.)

Nationalism, and Patriotism are kind of synonymous, they can be used interchangeably in some contexts, including this one. however, the difference between fascist nationalism, and true patriotism is that Fascists believe that the country is inherently flawwed, because too many people have too many rights. patriots love their country, and accept their place in it, without being jealous of anyone else's place in it. So that they can actually work together on Positive projects like improving the economy, instead of grinding down the citizens to start up a war machine which only maintains the economy through conquering. Globalism is basically the separate nations cooperating on global projects, like the Internet. So, Americans can talk to Japanese without having to sacrifice any of the identity, or autonomy of either nation. Trade, the international commodities markets, and agreements not to kill us all with nuclear war are all examples of Globalism. We don't need World peace, we just have to keep Nationalism in check enough that it doesn't wipe us all out.
