You can be part of this Fall's activity in the Story Discussion Circle. We are open to those at any level of proficiency, so long as there is an effort to do a good job in writing.

Several expert writers, some published, frequent the Circle. There are many gifted amateurs too, often with background in writing or literature.

The Deal:
We will help comment on and critique your story, which will appear as an official selection.

By the time it appears you will have posted a critique (300 words) of some other story in the official roster.

After that you will owe us one more critique in the next couple months.

I'm not sure I understand how this works. I think of myself as a very new writer (authors is much to pretentious a word for me.)

I'm always interested in having my stories critiqued, and the more experience the person doing it, the better.

I do have a story that has been sent in but not published here yet. Could I have that one critiqued? I don't think I'm going to have time to write anything new for a while, school is a killer right now.

I would also be happy to critique someone else, although I can't do anything about spelling or grammar.
