*Begin Rant*

Have you ever had one of those days where everything you do/did just got you nowhere? Almost further down that stack of work to do than you were before you commenced work on "said stack" of work?

I started on a simple list of items to be done........that just grew and grew and grew by days end. Hell, I am not even gonna be in the freaking office tomorrow and my list will grow incessantly longer in my absence.......

The funny thing of this bit is, I had my list down to one singular item to work left from Friday. Yet low and behold, the list grew in short order and rather quickly. Arrrrggggghhhhhhhh

Working on a fucking legal action on a freaking project and the damn lawyer, hell I don't think he has a freaking CLUE what it is he wants. He tells me one thing, then 20 minutes later (or just as I am finishing gathering that data he previously asked for) right when I am getting ready to fire "required information" to him, he changes his goddamn mind. Arrrrrggghhhhhhh. Somebody gave him a fucking stupid pill at breakfast, I swear.

Ok, my blood pressure has resumed somewhat of a normal level now........

*End of rant*

Have you had a good day or bad one? Please someone tell me I wasn't alone in my "day from hell" today.........please.

Well, Chuckus. I'd um, love to sympathise with you, but I've had a wonderful day, due to the weather for the most part...

But I've had days like that, So I hear ya' man! ;) j

Lawyers are Fickle creatures, aren't they? :D

Yes the weather outside was just lovely, whilst I slaved away for this dumb fucking lawyer who took a huge ass stupid pill this morning for breakfast.

Usually lawyers don't bug me as I deal with them from time to time. But this dude not only was bitten by the dumb-ass bug, he is so goddamn anally retentive it is sad. He didn't like something the way I had put it on an Excel file, then had the FUCKING BALLS to call me and TELL ME to change it and email it back to him. I said "No, you change it the way you want it. Your paid $10 million an hour, go earn it......"

Most of the lawyers I have dealt with are cool and ask for the basic information and take it from there, but not this fucker. He has to be spoon fed. Arrrrggghhhhhh.......

Yes the weather is lovely here for this time of year. Low 70's and Sunny. Though it will only be like that til Thursday, because Friday it goes back to a high of MAYBE mid-40's.

We better enjoy this nice weather we are stealing........:)

Thanks Wiggles for your thoughts..........sometimes just typing it or "saying" it helps alot. :)

Well I got your Low, what was your High for the day?

No, Chuckus, you aren't alone in having a bad day.

I was expected at the hospital for some tests this morning at 7:30 a.m. Of course, those tests required a laxative be taken. So, I called the hospital from the "reading room" and suggested they not schedule such early appts for victims of laxatives. :D

Then, I arrived late. Had four viles of blood drawn from one arm, got a chest x ray (which of course would require a wide angle lens) and a cat scan.

Finally, they trotted me through the busy halls in a hospital gown in order to inject me with some dye and take more pics. Hmmmm don't I have a reaction to the dye and am not able to catch my breath!

After four hours of being poked, prodded, rolled and turned sunnyside up, I went home with a migraine and upset stomach.

And all this on NO COFFEE!!!!!!!!!

I am not ranting though. Having a day like this isn't so bad when one looks at the alternatives for neglecting one's health.

*MUAH* Chuckus. Tomorrow has to be better!

hmmmmmm.........that I am at home now, relaxing drinking a beer and unwinding some. I talked to my nephew on the phone, he got an A on one of his tests in school. He called me when his report card came in and he got straight A's. So I am glad to see that he kept it going. :)

Yesterday was my BAD day! My furnace broke. Try to get that fixed on a Sunday. You can't. *sigh*
Then later that day, my water pipe burst!
I didn't think those two things could break at the same time. lol
And I really didn't have any extra money to get them fixed, because the day before I paid $200 to have a rotten tree in my backyard cut down!
But today is a new day, and everything is okay. *fingers crossed* :D

W:rose:CKED EVE

Chuckus? My day was lovely and fairly serene. I'll give it to you for your tomorrow, if you don't mind a recycled day...

I'm sorry your day sucked.

Those laxatives can be a bitch........and at such an early hour, with no caffeine, oh my. Can't say what my 'tude would have been.

Blood taken.........that's not so bad, did the nurse bust the artery or vein? That hurts like a biatch!!!!

and a wide angle lens for the chest x-ray? *making a mental note to self* ;)

That dye, if it is like the one's I have taken before........they ask if your allergic to seafood. Is that the one? I am not allergic to seafood but that dye had some volatile projectiles, if you know what I mean!!!!! That stuff did wicked stuff to me, the time or two I have had to take it.........YUCK.

Yes, tomorrow HAS to be better. I must say, this is the first "day from hell" I have had in quite some time so I shouldn't be so pissed about it, I guess maybe it was because of some lawyer who has his head so far up his arse he doesn't know .......

and I hope you get better soon or figure out what is going on. to you MissTaken.........

Wicked Eve - well it sounds as if Murphy's Law was in effect. Sorry and a *hug* to you.

Cym- Thanks your a gem. I'll take a recycled day anytime.

I suppose a day like that every now and then is to be expected, but I just work so darn hard to make sure they don't happen it befuddles me when it does? Does that make sense? Darn ignoramus's. Oh well, such is life.

Chuckus

Thanks for the hug. Maybe it'll ease the pain of the plumber's bill! lol
