I've lived on a farm nearly all my life, and you just don't run to town to replace everything you broke, you fixed it, or make a part. I dislike many things, of those are buying something I can make or fix, and paying someone to do something I can very well do myself.

I'm one of those folks that would still enjoy talking to you even if you never shed a thread. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed your latest set of photos, in particular, the first three on the couch. Your style of photography enables me to put myself on the couch next to you enjoying the show.

I just get in a funk every once in awhile, and posts like that are not directed at any one individual, just a general rant at observations.

I know how that works. I was raised in a floating cabin in rural Alaska with no stores, no electricity, no running water, etc. Running to town for us required either a boat or an airplane.

These must be the pictures with the 'propy' candle you mentioned before. I do like these, actually. The color saturation on the second picture has a very Polaroid look to it that appeals to me. (Of course, the subject matter in general in all of these photos is also very appealing to me....) And I don't think I mentioned this before, bit that night when you took those .pictures, your hair looked absolutely GORGEOUS.

Yep, that's the propy candle. You see why I was considering just going ahead and cropping it out entirely now? It really didn't add much to the pictures overall. I'll revisit that one sometime and see if I can actually get it to do what I had originally intended...or something. Maybe.

So, I had a chance to stop by the house and take a shower and do a load of laundry and such today. While I was sitting here waiting for my clothes to dry I thought I would pop onto Lit and say hi really quick. Then I figured that since I was half naked anyway and had a cell phone I might as well take a couple of quick pics to go along with it. There's nothing great here, but I felt guilty stopping by without leaving an offering behind...that and I'm a total picture whore.

The ex should be moved out of my house by the first so I'll finally be able to come back home then. Once that happens I imagine I'll be able to find far more free time to take some "proper" pictures. Actually...even those will still have to be cell phone pics. I forgot that the good camera died on me. Ahh well...we'll figure it out.
