One Banana, Two Bananas, Three Bananas, Four

Four Bananas make a bunch and so do many more.

Five Bananas, Six Bananas, Seven Bananas, Eight

(and now what the HELL is the rest of this song?????)
Help me please! This is stuck in my head and driving me crazy!

Just a guess...

Nine banana, ten banana, eleven banana, blech.

You guys are pretty clever. SOMEONE out there has GOT to know the next line. BEFORE the LA LAs.....

OMG. Short road trip adventure today and Bluesboy starts singing this song. (I swear it wasn't ME this time!) I'm not going to be able to rest until we figure it out.

I thought this was the theme to 'The Banana Splits' (one of those kids' shows from the '70s), but it never went higher than 4 bananas...

I know, I'm showing my age :p

The Tra La La Song

Written and performed by Ritchie Adams and Mark Barkan.

Rocking Splits

One banana, two banana, three banana, four
Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more.
Over hill and highway the banana buggies go
Comin' to bring you the Banana Split show

(CHORUS)
Tra la la, la la la la
Tra la la, la la la la

Four banana, three banana, two banana, one
All bananas playin' in the bright warm sun.
Flippin' like a pancake, popping like a cork
Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper an' Snork

Tra La La!(REPEAT CHORUS)

Two banana, four banana, one banana, three
Swingin' like a bunch on monkeys, hangin' from a tree.
Hey there, ev'rybody, won't you come along and see
How much like Banana Splits ev'ryone can be

(REPEAT CHORUS)

Makin up a mess of fun
Makin up a mess of fun
Happiness for ev'ryone
Tra la la, la la la la
Tra la la, la la la la
Tra la la, la la la la

Eight bananas ain't no thang, let's all copulate.

I'll have what somplace is drinking, please.

I'm hyperventilating from laughing so hard. THANK YOU! THANK YOU STORM!! Oh Thank GOD. I can sleep now.

And LK, I'm drinking nothing stronger than root beer tonight, sorry. Did the margarita thang last night and still a bit dehydrated.

OH Thank God too, that I can now FORGET the verses BB kept making up. Y'all would have been proud -- but they were not fit for mixed company if ya know what I mean.

Fleagle, Bingo, Droopper and snork?

Bananas are very good for when you're dehydrated, they're an excellent source of potassium (your electrolytes tend to get out of balance when you're short of fluids.)

Nice to see that my efforts were appreciated.

won't bother next time

Oh pashaw Slickie. I'm on a decrepid dial-up dinosaur computer and am a bit slow. Don't get your knickers in a twist yet. Sheesssh. There's plenty enough time for all that later.

THANK YOU for taking the time to help me out with my problem. I truly appreciate anyone who took the time to respond to my thread, but you went to extra effort and looked up the answer for me.

Hey, I made up a perfectly good rhyme -- that's a lot more work than going to Google, damnit.

Are you saying it's a mental thing? I NEED the bananas, therefore, I have the bananas on the brain? (makes sense I guess)

Well, bananas are good for otherthings too....but that would be a different thread:devil: Thanks for bringing memories back Someplace:kiss:

You LIKE seeing me in hot water, don't you? Or are you angling for some   too? Keep it up and I may be cracking open that bottle of Christmas port in a minute.

Then I'll have to go find Eumenides.

Aww.. Someplace... now do I feel bad..

at least I get to hear you use the words Knickers, Twist, Plenty and Time for That all in the same breath...

So now we're all happy.

Christmas Port

LK, I just dusted off a bottle of port I was given at Christmas. Just now, opened it, poured it into a crystal decantor and poured a small glass. *winkles nose* Okay, so Cockburns it's not.

It's some kind of special reserve from the best known Texas vineyard. Let's be kind and say it needs to sit a while longer.
