Politics and war stress me out.

As a mother, you wouldn't have liked some of the atrocities that he says go on in Iraq by the government against their own citizens.

Superbowl started 12:00am CET

The live coverage from congress started 3:00am CET

So much for being in a freaking time zone

See? I find that stuff so upsetting. It's gotten to the point where I have a difficult time even watching the news.

I got rid of cable and the dish some time ago,

the speech was on all five stations.

They were all the same.

I had mine on ABC, but fell asleep when the after-speech comments began...

I watched on FOX News, but like PH said, the speech was the same on all channels.

The after speech commentary was probably different from channel to channel, but two of my boys were watching the speech with me, and they started talking as soon as the speech was over, so the TV sound went down, and we had our own evaluation.

I wasn't home

to watch it.

It was parent night at the high school for all the incoming freshmen parents. Man that was probably scarier than anything Bush had to say! I'm so overwhelmed now. Then when I got home my daughter had tons of questions - we get to plan out all 4 years of high school tonight! They've upped the number of credits she has to have - use to be 21 now it's 24 - and there are certain classes she has to take - two of which we are going to try to do at summer school - and she's actually cool with that!

Anyway - I did watch some of the "hi-lites" on Good Morning America this morning.

Watched it on NBC...

Well I should say that the first half put me to sleep on the couch....I did wake up for the second half though

The speech was the same, but after what Caly said, I'm not sure that the bottom of the screen was the same.

It's always interesting to see which station has whom on for the post-speech comments.

I flipped between a couple and each had different comments by the reporters covering it. All were quite funny to listen to. ;)

I didn't watch it...I was at work. I haven't even read it yet. I'm saving it for a night when I have insomnia. :)

I was at a choral rehearsal when it ran live. I taped it and watched it once I got home, then caught the after-speech analysis via Hannity and Colmes on Fox News.

According to my totally scientific poll here, there where almost as many Americans who didn't watch it as there were who watched it.
