Andrew

Andrew only barely noticed Natalie taking out her phone in response, presumably, to a text or email. Taking out one's phone in the middle of a conversation with others was something he, himself, did frequently. But, as Natalie tried to be nonchalant in her message to both of the moms that she had a date this evening he immediately realized what was up: Todd was in town and ready to hook up with Natalie.

A big grin was already crossing Andrew's face when Natalie shot him a glance that seemed to be her throwing him a lifeline to rescue her from the two older women's interrogation. Her nudge against his foot left no doubt about what she was asking. Andrew's grin broadened. Teasing each other had always been a part of their relationship. "Well, Natalie, I agree with your mom. I think we would all like to meet this new beau of yours." Andrew knew that someday there would be a payback for this, but he feigned needing to get back to the bar, leaving his old friend and soon-to-be apartment mate twisting slowly in the wind.

Todd

I will meet you at your hotel. Just send me the room number. Tonight, I am your beck and call girl.

Todd's phone was already in airplane mode when Natalie's text reply arrived. Since he didn't know his hotel room number yet, he waited until he checked in to reply back to her. Even though he was very well off and his consulting business was booming, Todd couldn't afford to stay in the very high-end, $1,000/night hotels, but he could go high-end business class. On this trip he chose the Ritz Carlton. Surprisingly, the cost was "only" $339/night.

As soon as Todd checked in to Room 674 he replied to Natalie's text, "Ritz Carlton. 674. Let's say 6:30. That will give us time for an "appetizer" before I treat you to a first-class dinner in the dining room at the Ritz. We might decide to have "dessert" back in my room later."

Natalie spent the next fifteen minutes getting their moms to relent on meeting Todd. She promised her mother that perhaps soon she would bring Todd by for Sunday dinner, which was always held at Avec. She made her way back to the kitchen and she boxed up a slice of flourless chocolate cake with some creme fraiche and some sliced berries. She also put in a creme brulee and a few macaroons. She did her chores in the kitchen, and made sure that Henri had all hands on deck.

Then she rushed home to shower and dress. She washed out her hair and then slid into her favorite little black dress and heels. She tucked her new negligee in her overnight bag with a toothbrush. She took a few moments to blow out her hair and spent a few moments doing real, going out make up. Her father looked up at her as she made her way to her car with her overnight bag.

"I am going to be out tonight, Dad. Todd is in town. I told mom and she is quite insistent he comes to Sunday dinner soon." She kissed her dad on the cheek and he grumbled just a little about her being out all night.

She drove to his hotel and let the valet stow her car. She reapplied her lipstick and smoothed her hair, and went to knock on his door, holding her box of high end desserts. She could feel her heart thundering in her chest. She wanted to see his eyes light up with pleasure when he saw her.

When Todd sent his text to Natalie that referenced the possibilities of both an "appetizer" and a "dessert" with a very nice dinner in between, his references to both the appetizer and dessert weren't, of course, to food. He was sure that Natalie understood that. How could she not for a woman whom he previously once had massaged to an orgasm in an elevator on the way to their hotel room. But, when Natalie presented herself to him with a sampling of his very favorite desserts, his thinking wavered. "On the other hand", Todd told himself, "why not have both."

Todd gave Natalie a teasing, light kiss on her lips, set the box that she brought on the desk in his room, took out the creme brulee, and lead her by the hand to sit on his bed. Using the spoon that the hotel had thoughtfully left in the room he started to alternately feed Natalie and himself delicious spoonfuls of the creme brulee, saying nothing but maintaining intense eye contact with her.

After the last spoonful Todd grinned slightly and said, "Oh, dear, I think I missed and got a little of the brulee on your cheek. Let me take care of that." Teasingly, he kissed her on her cheek where the alleged smear was, licking her cheek lightly as if he was removing a smudge of food. He repeated his act on her other cheek. Pulling back and holding Natalie's gaze, Todd said, "Wait, there's just one more spot that I missed. I'll get it.

With that ruse Todd pressed his lips to hers, using his tongue to sweep her lips as though her were cleaning them. His own breath now growing more rapid, Todd returned to a second kiss, this time sliding his tongue between Natalie's lips, inviting, no more demanding, her to respond in kind and begin the lovers' tongue dance that would, in fact, be an "appetizer" for a "main course" that wouldn't occur in the hotel dining room.
