Okay everybody, here is my brand new Cocoa tree. It's soooo adorable!

Lovely little tree Betticus. They need deep shade , dappled light , no direct sunlight this young. High humidity. Seriously hope you manage to grow it past the juvenile stage , it looks a robust little character and they will live over 100 years once established.

Good luck with it :rose:

To tell the truth, I have a brown thumb, I never remember to water things. I can kill cacti.

I'm with you here, Graceanne. The only plant I haven't killed is bamboo so I tend to buy it whenever I see it- guess you can't really kill something though that lives in water huh?

This one is going to be an indoor tree! I think he'll be fine in the den under the skylight. The sun here is too harsh for most tropical plants.

It's wonderful for my laundry out on the clothesline though. Air/sun dried laundry has a special lil something you can't get from a dryer. It's a lot easier on the electricity bill too.

check out wikepedia as to how its made - pretty involved process

i did a chocolate course as part of an advanced pastry chefs course a few years ago - i couldnt stand the sight of it by the end!

one night i accidently tipped about 4 litres of warm melted chocolate down the front of my uniform - it went down the neck of my chefs jacket, into my bra, trickled down my front and into my undies! - then i had a 90min drive home!

sigh.........pity there was nobody to lick it off at the other end

sigh .. that is a pity

I should have realized it would be an indoor tree Betticus. I am unfamiliar with the climate that you live in outside of the tribulations of heat and ohh ummm heat.

Hallelujah re sun dried laundry. Linen just smells different dried outdoors . It's a luxury I no longer afford being an apartment dweller. It is also as you stated a much more responsible use of natural resources. Perhaps we need some domly eye candy images of you hanging out laundry ? Perhaps even just hands, laundry and clothes pins . Call it conceptual art : chuckles : I for one see a potential hawt factor there .

I'll be more excited when it's got chocolate on it. Now that's exciting.

To tell the truth, I have a brown thumb, I never remember to water things. I can kill cacti. And if I don't - my son does. Nothing survives being knocked over daily for a month - NOTHING. *sigh*

Try Russian thistle.

I'll build you a race car once i've finished my own... then you can sort the shipping out ;)

Its such a cute lil tree :D

I think we'd have to save the shipping costs and you can come to school here, stay in the slaves quarters and work your rent off with auto work! :) :D :nana:

YES!!! The Domly art of laundry! It is a very overlooked part of the Domly skills but an important one.

You should see me fold my undies and socks, it would get you so hot you'd have to fan yourself.
