similar to my brother's...he took the vinyl off and was sanding it smooth last I saw it.

The goof ball put a big block into a Vega! I thinkhe had the only one in Michigan with no rust... i think he did that in the late 70's (probably still has it...he piles up cars in his garages) he had to move the radiator to fit that honkin' engine in there.

I had a Vega too! Great little car until the pistons collapsed, luck there was a silent warranty for overheating. Got a new engine. Only real problem I ever had with it was the carberator screws would loosen and it would start runing like shit. Had to then pull over and tighten them down.

We're neighbors, I'm west of Saline. Well, kind of far west of Saline but that's close enough. And yes, there are a lot of Pontiacs out there, but that's because they're good running and driving cars.

And I want a camero, I've always wanted another one of them...sexy cars.

Might be my own misperception. I certainly know men who also drive them.

Well, considering that there are a ton of them at the school with Mom's coming to pick up their kids at night when I pick up my sis, I'd say, yeah... I've owned a Grand Am before too and loved it, also a Sunfire. I haven't had a Pontiac that I didn't enjoy driving.

Cloudy dear, I'm not sure if this is the car, but I remember hearing that Chip Foose was supposed to have bought all the fixins from the original 69 Camaro, and modifiying it to stock.

Bah! If I can't drive it year round IN Michigan, then it is a waste.

I want my cars to be cool AND functional. I never want tobe a slave to it...I have a firned who has a Mercedes SLk...pretty cute and fast and sporty (noy MY fav)..but she is constantly washing it...only drives it on nice days...and parks out in bum-fuck egypt. NO car is worth that to me.
