Old Stories

I am new here, but how long is it reasonable to wait for thread approval. Also some of the stories don't show activity since early in the year. It would seem to be a waste of time to add to them if there is no one looking to give approval. There are some great story ideas out there being apparently wasted.

Any thoughts on this. Am I missing something?

Basically, the first thread of a story must be approved by Chyoo's moderators. All subsequent threads must be approved by the original author of the story.

Some have moved on, and will never respond. Check Chyoo's FAQ to know what to do if you have submitted a thread to an "orphelin" story.

Other stories haven't been worked on recently, but that doesn't mean the original author will never approve a new thread. After all, an e-mail is sent to the author every time a new thread needs his approval. So, the only way to know if somebody is still around to approve threads is to submit one and cross your fingers...
