Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

Girl Groups were really big in my teen years. Here's a couple, see you remember any of them.

The Shirelles "A Thing of the Past"

Next are the Group called The Orlons
Rather than R&R or the Hoochie Koo we did the Grind to this song. Well actually all the slow songs!!

I think this is my favorite. NO, I had many that are just as good as this one. But I did love this song.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k99k4ghmsK4

Martha & The Vandellas -- A Love Like Yours 1963

My brother loved this group, and I can see why they are pretty and sing great. I laugh at this song every time I hear it now on Monday. She really looks great for 2008!

The Bangles - Manic Monday HD (Live - 2008)

I read somewhere Prince wrote the song! WOW!

:) I feel the same way, never like his music. To me he was no big deal. I have a dinner I have to go to tonight, and I don't feel like going. I know I'll be OK once I get there but it's cold out! So, duty calls! Have a great evening!

I hope your dinner goes wonderful!

Sat in my car today after the doctor visit and heard the following

Huey "Piano" Smith - High Blood Pressure

I really like these old New Orleans songs!!! Great to dance to.
BTW When is the last time you saw a guy dressed in a suit to dance????
