Old Flame - 2nd Chance

OK, the old flame theme isn't original storyline, but...

Lately I've been thinking about my first live-in GF and a few of the things she wanted us to try, which would've pushed the envelop for me beyond what I thought I wanted. Dumb!... dumb!... dumb!! Needless to say, I successfully avoided getting out of my sexual comfort zone with her.

...and years later I regret it, because knowing myself better today, it probably would have broken down an intimacy barrier and would have been absolutely thrilling. Pity.

So, the predictable storyline: A chance meeting during which one of the characters confesses such regret to the other.... Does anybody have RL experience with this kind of scenario? or ideas about how it might go?

Well I've never had this experience myself, but the thought I had for this idea was this.

The guy's regretful, but he comes across a magic lamp/fortune teller machine/wish-granted tortoise that lets him make one wish. He wishes he could relive that part of his life and do things right. Suddenly, he's transported back into his younger body, with the opportunity to do all the things he never got a chance to do before.

No, don't have any real life experience with this.
But I am really curious to know what kinds of things she wanted you to try then.
