Old fax machine yelled at me in German

I was at a thrift store recently, and when I walked past an old fax machine in the used electronics isle, I swore that the machine shouted at me something in German. I only understand a few dozen words in German (mostly profanity, but enough to recognize the language when I hear it) and the only word I recognized was "ficken" which is German for "fuck".

There were very few people in the store and it wasn't anyone around me at the time, so it couldn't have been a person.

I'm quite certain that the 20-year-old fax machine said something bad in German and it was directed towards me.

About a year ago, I was at the same thrift store and an old 1970's washing machine said "hey" to me as I was walking by with my cart.

I'd say that I'm done with that thrift store, and they can keep their evidently possessed appliances and electronics. Getting creeped out there twice is enough for me.

Maybe it was possessed by the angry ghost of Hitler.

I did receive a Nazi silver coin when I got my change after paying for my items at my local grocer.
