The game was awesome, if you get a chance to go, I'd really recommend it, if you like basketball anyway.

Don't you just hate it when you have a cold morning on a work day, makes it so much harder to get up in the morning.

Brrrr...I know what you mean Mr Crimson.

The only thing worse is when it is raining.

Those are the best mornings to stay curled up in bed.....

:rose: :rose:

Well, on the bright side, I do have today off, so I was able to sleep in today, even if I couldn't quite make it until 9:00 a.m.

Happy Veterans Day !!!

Big shout out to all the Veteran's out there !! Thank you for all you do !!

I also want to say thanks to any parents, spouses, or kids of veterans. Being in a relationship with someone in the military has it's own challenges and hardships.....and rewards !!

VETERANS ROCK !!!!!

The triptophan or whatever the hell it was in the turkey, worked to make me tired, but it didn't work to make me go to bed... You can be exhausted and still goof off on the computer! Then what's bad is when you don't realize exactly how late it is!!

Hey ya'll !!!!!

Did everyone survive Thanksgiving ??

Does anyone have any big news ?? My big news is that my car is dead....dead....dead.... I'm thinking about shooting it.

:rose:

No, no really big news here, just getting busier which means less time on here. I'd offer some of the free tickets I got to the upcoming Blazers game on here, but who knows when I'd be back in to check on that.

Is there anyone here from Oklahoma?

I'm not but, I loved Oklahoma when I visited.
My son pitched for Oklahoma State University and I found Stillwater to be a wonderful place...well, all but the women who threw me out of a restaurant on a Sunday for having shorts on. lol  I was there right after The Oklahoma City Bombing and well - Oklahoma City was a sad place but -being The Bible Belt, the people were so forgiving of McVeigh. Anyways - LOVE Oklahoma and would live there if i could.

Nice thread.
thanks.

Well, if you liked Stillwater, which is pretty crappy, you'll love the rest of the state. I don't know if I'd say people here forgave McVeigh, but Oklahoma City did pull back together again, all things considered.

Well, I saw a lot of the state...we drove through it (a family friend is still there...in Tulsa). I guess I loved the peace and quaintness of Stillwater but - was surprised at their attitude toward the Native Americans. I agree with you about them "forgiving" McVeigh - when I was there the comments were - Jesus loves him and he could not help what he did.

Have a nice morning, Crimson.

I will have to disagree.......

I know a lot of people that were directly affected by the OKC bombing.....most have found a way to get over it one way or another, whether with counseling or asking God to help them turn the other cheek and/or forgive McVeigh. But I have to say, not a single person I know said "he could not help what he did".

On a different note, thanks for the nice things you said about OK. I think it is a great place to live. Have a great day !!!

I have a question for everyone...is there anyone that lives anywhere close to Muskogee by any chance? I hope everyone stays warm..

Brrrrrrrrr

My mother's favorite phrase for weather this cold is that's it's colder than a witch's tit in a brass bra........

or....colder than a well digger's patoot......

It's cold........but I would rather be cold than hot......I like cuddling in the winter way better than cuddling in the summer.......

Hi Big Ben !!! What's up ???
