From what I can tell so far, Yes a sausage fest. And yes some Aholes who pose as women. I'm guessing you have to be an online player. there are 3 different categories of women/men on here.
1. Cockteasers (excuse the french ; ), They talk crap on the threads but that's about it
2. Women who are so inundated with Pm they have no time or patience, for regular guys.
3. Women who are full of crap ie say one thing and respond differently. Also with fake avatars of themselves posing it to be them.

On the guy side
1. Sweet talkers, we all know them, As a guy I roll my eyes at some comments I cant believe women actually fall for that line of bull, But yeah they do.
2. The guy who is persistent, he's pm every single women on this site. inundate them with Pm till she blocks him. like a spammer he will hit paydirt.

Bottom line definitely more guys than women. Fun women can pick and choose Most good guys have no shot. I think for the most part the a hole guys ruin it. You would think a site like this would be easy to chat. Best bet do what I do enjoy the site by looking at the threads that peak your interest. It's frustrating otherwise.

Just to chime in here since it was my "visceral response" post that seems to have blown up the thread. My intent was never to attack lifeis2short2b, but to question how much of his experience is influenced by the assumptions he's made about the people on the other side of the screen ..

I'll give everyone here the grace and understanding that we all are dealing with our own "perceptions" of the world, and it has been my experience that our preconceived perceptions limit our ability to fully experience what the other person has to offer.

My experience here has been that each of the women that I've talked to on some level has had their own individual set of reasons for being here, and if you do put in a genuine effort, you can get an understanding of who they are. In fact, it's pretty easy to tell guys masquerading as women most of the time because their approach to the conversation is way too transparent. Again, rather than stereotyping, I think if you genuinely show an interest in the other person as human being, most (not necessarily all) will respond in kind.

Ok, addressing your number 2. (Ha) Correct, that some woman get inundated with pms. You are right. Especially, if a female has her settings showing she is "online."
The best thing a guy can do here, IMO, is, like in real life, be attractive-as in approachable and decent, write interesting posts on the threads and make some friends. Post in different areas of the site..so women can get to know your uniqueness. I reach out to men I have stuff in common with and I think many gals operate this way.
So, as a random example, not you, seriously: If a guy's only posts on this site are bemoaning his lack of e--action, there is no draw there. Similarly, if a guy's only posts say "Sexy tits," on AM Pics, that does not make me interested to know more.
This site caters to Literati....
