Scary thought I know :(

We are looking to you for leadership, not finger pointing. And forget Bill Clinton, he's the past. You are THE MAN, now. Here's your chance to lead America into the global community.

A word of caution on Kyoto first. Sure, you can expend political capital to try to get it pushed through congress, but it's very unpopular with both democrats and republicans.

After the death of 7000 people, I don't guess that's your first priority now, but I can speak for you. I yield the board to the President PP man. The leader of the free world.

Enlighten us, oh wise one.

Quite simple really...

Instead of spending millions of dollars on a strategy which is shaky to say the least I would spend the same amount of money and bomb the people of Afghanistan with all the goodies that we could get our hands on.

Food, soft drinks, cloth, radios, tents, battery operated fans, batteries, anything that could be useful in their present stage of development.

Nothing like a bit of "feel good" to make you resent the ones that make you "feel bad".

The hearts and minds of the people was the strategy the US used in the early days of the Vietnem War and it was working. But because it wasn't working fast enough Congress changed its policy to the one that eventually lost the war.

You don't break people away from an oppressive regime by bombing them out of existence. You do it by saying "Hey fellahs come over to our side. Look what we can give you".

Bribery? Maybe. But that's a part of life which is fully understood in many parts of the world.

It's only the West which puts "and corruprion" after it.

"You've given me all this power-why are you surprised when I use it"

I reckon France is overdue for bit of blanket bombing...

I've never forgiven them for William the Conqueror!
