Maybe it is just me, but I wouldn't call someone out of the blue that I've never "met" before. Makes me uncomfortable. Is that want you want people from the board to do? Call you?

What about the rest of you? My kind of "unwritten guidelines" for the order of contacts would be email/ICQ/phone/RL. Jumping from bb to phone is like getting up to bat and skipping first and second base, running right to third base instead.
