And i'm lost. What does PYL mean? Here i thought i was up to date on internet acronyms. :p

LOL Ok pyl is pick your label. A PYL is either a top, dom, master, sir, etc. A pyl is a bottom, sub, slave, etc. The key is in whether it's capitalized or not.

i was wondering what that was too, but since i'm not new here, i thought i should know it, and thats why i hadnt asked...which is dumb, becuz the only stupid question is the one unasked...

Whenever I see this term used, it reminds me of the old "sie" and "hir" days. Anybody remember those days? ;)

Thanks a lot for that, Sir Winston. :/

The sie and hir business was used on a number of Usenet sex newgroups, mostly during the time before there was a WWW. It wasn't an attempt to avoid arguing over labels, it was an attempt to be politically correct by using a single pronoun to refer to both genders, hir being the alleged possessive version of sie, if you sie what I mean. The practice really irritated me. I don't like fake words unless they're humorous or clever and and the people promoting this sie and hir business were some of the most un-humorous and literal individuals I've ever come across. I also saw no reason to refer to an invidual as a "sie" when that person was clearly a he or a she. I took a lot of shit from people for not using their lingo. Still do, too. ;) Anyway, I was sure at the time that this sie/hir business was going to catch on everywhere and like "I am a dominate" become a near-universal. But it didn't. Whew!

I remember when I was in high school hearing of a group that was pushing for people to start spelling women 'womyn'. I guess it's similar to what you're talking about. Some people just have too much time on their hands. The argument was that the womyn didn't want the word 'men' in it.

I don't get it. I'm a man and I strive to be in a woman.

I'm just a player I guess.

I want to perfect my Antonio Banderas super suave latin accent and roll it into my own masculine voice. That shit might just turn me on. I'd talk dirty to myself. :p

NO! You? A Player? I would have never guessed. Are you sure?

Awww, you are right. You got me. I'm not a player. *sigh*, will have to just go back to dreaming... :rose:
