It would seem that way - however they're all scaredy cats!

For me the worst was (I think) 4 when I was at Uni - but nobody expects fidelity then. None of them was a relationship and we used to enjoy each other (not the girls together because they didn't know about each other). All went wrong when one did that love thing

However I'll take the blame squarely on the chin

It sounds great but I wouldn't lie about it.

Some friction and pain in relationships is unavoidable.

Perhaps I was wrong, but at one time I have dated three women concurrently. There was nothing "understood". We just went out. I wanst committed and they werent to me. I did sleep with two of them, and married one of them. When i decided to get serious about one the others just kinda slipped to the wayside. It was more of a mutual thing instead of a comitted/cheating/dumping kinda thing.

On the basis of a single event I admit to two. In general I am opposed to mixing/overlapping, it's just not right... but once, thinking a relationship had ended I enjoyed a "dalliance" only to have the first re-kindle... boring, eh? Well, see, it's pretty slow getting in and out of this armor in the first place, so when doing so one wants to be doing so with purpose not following a whim.

Well, that's not entirely true - I have been to Nederland on business, and worked with Dutch guys in my first job - building boats - so I picked up a bit...

Twice in my life I have had 2 lovers overlapping. Both times it was at the end of of a relationship that was already dying and we were having a hard time letting go of the feelings. And the new relationship was beginning.

But once I am with a man, he is the only one I sleep with.

When the relationship was ending with N, I had already met D and we were in the " let's see if this is something we both want " stage.

I repeat again..... the relationship I was in was beyond any means of saving.
It had gotten to the point of being with each other was better than being alone.
