Why is it every guy I chat with online wants me to meet them right away? Whatever happened to getting to know someone first? In this day and age with all the crazy shit going on in the world, do guys really think I'm going to chat with them for 10 min. online and then go over to their house?
Everyone feel free to post any and all of your pet peeves here. Maybe people will read them and STOP DOING THEM!

I have a pet turtle and a pet bunny, but never had a pet peeve. Are they high maintenance?

Depends on how big they get. The bigger they are, the more work they are to keep up!:p

not bloody likely.

a- People don't read, and

b- people suck, have always sucked and will continue to suck.

So list your peeves away but guess what...

Ok, I'll agree with B but if A is true, how do you explain all the threads here?

OK, new pet peeve...What is up with all the people who feel the need to share too much about their body functions? My brother-in-law had the flu and had to give me the detailed run down about every problem he was having. I didn't need to know how many times he threw up or how bad he had the runs. Just saying he was sick with the flu was enough information for me! Why do people have to get gross about this stuff?

That's covered on day one of brother-in-law training. It's part of making the actual spouse look normal by comparison, and cannot be avoided (other than by divorce, which ends the
"-in-law" thing mercifully quickly.)

Its like sharing the missery.

he has to suffer, so why suffer alone?

at least thats the only reason i can think of :D

Does this mean I can't talk about my painful, bleeding UTI? :(

I feel your pain Shad. After chatting I may meet them in a well lit area like a restaurant but they sure as hell aren't coming to my place and I'm NOT going to theirs.

Please don't discuss anything bleeding here if you can avoid it! Thank you all for you imput. Now I have some understanding of the situation!

Isn't that unfair

If I can't talk about my bloody bleeding than whats my bloody pet peeve suppose to be about?

Re: Isn't that unfair

If your pet peeve is that important and it involves blood, I'll let you talk about it. But just this once and only because I like you! Try not to get too gross!

There are so few people with pet peeves! I thought a thread like this would get a good response! Doesn't anyone have any good gripes? Life sucks and this is where we get to talk about it!

No because I didn't share anything about my self. I simply repeated a conversation that I had with my brother-in-law.And at least I had a point when I told it. He just thought for some reason that I needed to know all of that stuff about his body.

I don't cheat and I don't lie...sorry...

Woman that think all guys are cheaters and liers!

ARGGGGG.....that bugs me.....

Re: I don't cheat and I don't lie...sorry...

So many men do cheat and lie, it's just safer to assume that all of you do. That way when it does happen, it's not a shock. My personal belief is that all men cheat and lie at some point in their lives. For some reason I always end up being the lucky girl. I've had 2 guys cheat on me and then tell me I was the first girl they cheated on. Although that may be a lie! I just assume it's going to happen and then when it does I can just say, "I knew it was going to happen!"

My apologies to your experiences...but I DON'T CHEAT. I NEVER HAVE and NEVER WILL!!! I don't LIE either...

My last girlfriend was just waiting for it...and it ruined our relationship. I never cheated on her or lied to her...or any other girlfriend. I know there probably isn’t anything I can do to change this, but damn it's a big big big pet peeve of mine. I'm branded because other guys are fucking assholes and can't keep it in their bloody pants..

Sometimes you get exactly what you expect

I can't even imagine asking somoene to come over after having chatted for a few minutes, let alone expecting that they would- but, unlike S.Daedalus and I, most guys are jerks who think with the small head.

New Pet Peeve for today..

I did enjoy this thread...it's like a blurt but only different:p

Either way, new pet peeve for today is:

THOSE PEOPLE WHO DON'T RESPOND TO PM'S

If I took the time to Private Message you, the least you could do is acknowledge it!

I'm not asking for some deep conversation or some long-term meaningful relationship or anything. Just a simple reply. Even if you say "Thanx for the message...etc...".

I'm sure I’m not the only one that has the same feelings. Hell if I get a PM I almost always answer it immediately. Maybe I’m just some silly newbie, but as far as I’m concerned PM's are very cool, cause they tell someone else that they crossed your mind, if only for a second. And the idea that you affected someone enough for them to think about you, even for a moment, that’s kinda cool.

Either way, this is part BLURT and part Pet Peeve.
