You're just pissed that you didn't start the trend. :p

This is a trend? I thought designing aerodynamic, more fuel-efficient cars with ABS braking systems and airbags was a trend.

If I'm going to start a trend I'll make it an interesting one.

WHORE.

What does your AV say? You look like a shark? You have the personality or temperment of a shark? Or??? Perhaps you've just seen "Jaws" too many times?

It means I like sharks. Don't read too much into it.

They're thinking, "Christ what a fabulous looking chick", amelia.
"I'd like to meet her at church camp".

The AV did it... I'm all a-twitter

The av phenomenon is pretty interesting. We all know that, with the exception of the few who do use their own faces, that the avs aren't us...yet we will treat each other differently based on the av we choose. If I switched my cat av for a nude pic of Pam Anderson, my posts would be seen differently - even though it's obviously not me. Men with "hot guy" avs are treated differently than those who choose objects or animals. Avs color my perception of people, even though I know that they're fiction.

Of course, the argument can be made that av choice tells a lot about a person. If I used a hot goth girl rather than a hot blonde chick in my av, this may say a bit about my perception of beauty. Or maybe not.

What do you think? Do non-real (not photos of the user) avs affect how you see people? Do you find it difficult to separate the av from the words? Or is the av totally irrelevent in your eyes?

well, you are kinda catty, so I guess your AV fits perfect. :D

AV's just add to the comedy, even if they're not supposed to.

You may not believe this, but that is me in my AV, mmhmm. It's fantastic, life in plastic.
