I think DEI will take it.....Hope Jr gets all 4 but Mikey is not far behind him........

I suspect you're right. DEI has Daytona wired.

But I have to answer Jeff Gordon. I always have to answer Jeff Gordon.....

GO Michael, GO Michael, GO Michael, GGGGGGOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I'm sitting here in my Daytona 500 1st win shirt from 2001. I really, really want to be able to celebrate a Michael win, i've been waiting over 12 years for the pleasure.

If I were betting, I'd go with Jr.

If I were NASCAR, I'd disqualify everybody that failed post-race inspection, not just fine 'em. Maybe I'd throw in a suspension.. That'd make it lively, wouldn't it?;)

OH YES!

MW leads the first lap.

And dammit, i'm crying....... that 29 car in-car camera shot was just tooooooo much.

It's lap 3, time for silence.

I'm going with either Cale Yarborough or Benny Parsons. Last time I saw a race they ran really well.

Jim, darlin, turn the TV on to Fox. Benny is a highly acclaimed announcer now. He'll be back in the booth in July when NBC takes over the broadcasts.

Cale isn't involved in Cup racing anymore. Pity that his team folded.

Michael Waltrip would be a really good one to cheer for today.

Cringe, just reading the crybaby's name makes me sick.

THe commercials are interesting, Buffy Waltrip doesn't like me cause she thought i said something about Michael's behind, now there's a commercial all about it. :D

Update

They're in a rain delay. But, the rain has stopped and they're out with the dryers.
Little E is in the lead.
I'm pulling for Kurt Busch. He went from 36th to 10th, so far.
I think it's Jr's race to win, though.

Storm is going to win.

Lots of storms.

Well that sucked...no 4 times for Jr. don't look good now.

Yup. Congrats to Mike and DEI. At least he gets to celebrate this one unlike the last time.

I thought the same thing........................At least he can enjoy this one.

Oh, YES!

I've been a Michael Waltrip fan for what seems like forever. There were years and years that i was the only person in the stands at races wearing a Michael T-shirt. People laughed at me when i yelled and cheered when Michael was introduced.

Finally, i can celebrate a Michael Waltrip win. Finally, all those people that said he didn't have what it took have been proved wrong.

Michael now has three Winston Cup wins oh, and that asterick the non-points THe Winston from 1996.

Daytona 500 February 18, 2001 I cried that day, we lost Dale.

Firecracker 400 July 6, 2002 I cried that day, we had just buried the uncle who was a father to me.

Daytona 500 February 16, 2003 I cried today, this time they were all tears of joy.

I recall how big of a fan you are morninggirl, I recall the threads about him and when you got a chance to meet him.
A good car and a good driver matched well and he did good today.
I am happy you enjoyed it.
