The price of crude oil is dropping but the price of gas is up.

Oil companies cant make money drilling oil so theyre sticking it up consumer asses for oil storage. All the oil tankers outta work transporting oil are busy storing oil.

But! In spite of what Obama says, too many people are outta the labor force or working part time, so the price of gas is doomed to plunge. My gas consumption fell significantly after I retired. I went from driving 3000 miles per month to 3000 miles per year, 1/12th of the former.

Jesus... what a train wreck of a post. You're the Archie Bunker of lit, only not as intelligent or informed.

Wait for it:

Major oil production disaster predicted for May 2015 - just before the summer driving season everyone is counting on enjoying at $2.09 per gallon.

That's what happens when you have garbage as fellow workers. I fully believe you would make a good scab.

I've done both.

The union stole our pension fund and kept the money we paid for health insurance. They always made sure you paid the premium but didn't work enough hours to qualify for the benefit. The steady eddies worked down the street from their homes, and the rest of us drove 100 miles to jobs that paid $3 an hour less, with no mileage. The union was great.

The scab outfit paid more money and furnished insurance at no cost to me, no dues or assessments for politics. It was awful making more money working for the rat bastards. And I got a check for my accrued pension benefit when I left the company.

I've never said unions were perfect, and your example is different from this situation. I also never said a company could be good to work for, treat their employees well and be non union. There are places like that out there. If they were all like that, I would agree that unions wouldn't be as necessary... if at all. But that is so far removed from reality as to be a non issue IMO.

Same thing happened to me. Another good thing, I don't have to change oil in my cars more than once a year. Found out I like my home more than I do any other place.
