That's the major problem with big business in America. They haven't realized that the Industrial Age is over. Fossil fuels are being held onto because big business finds the cost of switching over to systems like hyrdogen fuel cells too high.

They don't realize that although the cost will be high to switch, the savings would be much greater in the end.
