Wow.

We are in a tornado watch until tomorrow morning. We also have a Flash flood warning AND a flood advisory.

We just had ten minutes of hail pounding our house.

This is really gonna mess up the Easter egg hunt tomorrow.

No more than when the dogs killed the easter bunny in our backyard on the night before easter.

Oh!

Oh my.

How did you ever explain that???

(Hey Zeb!)
Said the dogs killed the easter bunny. The kids understood. They were old enough not to believe anyway. ;)

(Hey Sarahh!)

Tornado warning now.

Tornado on the ground east of us.

No danger - we're not in the path of the storm, but this is annoying.
Be safe though. :rose:

Can tell you're definitely from Tornado Alley ... Tornado on the ground and you're not worried a bit.

Stay safe. We haven't had any bad storms here yet this year but you just know it's coming.

Everything is ok. The tornado is one county east. We're fine.

But I can't believe a week ago I was kissing and hugging everyone!

Can we do this again soon?

We could if we just all lived a little closer.

  back atcha! ;)

We're cautious but unafraid.

We have flashlights, candles, battery-powered storm radios. We have a large basement with couches and a mattress if necessary. Whenever we go downstairs the cats follow us, so they're safe. There is another refrigerator downstairs with drinks and supplies.

Whenever the weather gets odd we make sure the kids plug in their Gameboys and other electronic stuff. (Same for us). We are good.

I'd like to see some footage of this but the satellite is out. We can sort of get local channels - but with the weather radio we don't need it, really.

Thanks, though- we'll be just fine.

:rose:
Seems to me that with couches and mattresses down there you'd just be taking this excuse to run down there and play in the dark with the hubby :D

I'm trying to figure out a way to make it!

:rose:
You working on a Star Trek transporter? or some other extra-dimensional space and time shifting device?

I wish you luck in that regard. ;)

 :rose:

scary shit last night.
i dont think im ever going to get used to this tornado business. trapped at work with two confirmed tornadoes and many unconfirmed while lucky was home with middle child, prepared with an empty slot under the stairs. driving home last night, there was a part of the highway that was about 2ft under water. i had no choice but to follow the herd and drive through it... i thought my heart would stand still.

atleast with hurricanes, you kinda know where they're sorta headed.

who would live in a trailer where tornadoes are prevailant? i dont understand it.

No, no.

Just Map Questing the quickest way to drive it.

:D
Well then, as you turn on to I355 give me a call on my cell, slow down around 75th street and at the next overpass look up. I'll be the guy standing there waving at you as you go by. :)
