Oh Que!

Mine is nothing so exciting at all. I just had some different shades of red and copper put through as high lights and low lights at the hair dressers. I have curly hair, and the curls make every thing seems darker for some reason, same when I am blonde...when its straightened it is weirdly lighter...but I don't like my hair straight. I AM curly haired, and I don't feel right when its something different.

I think it's because there's so much texture in curly hair, more shadows, less surface for light to settle that it makes our hair seem darker than it is.

My hair was straight once, about 28 years ago. Once was enough for me. :)

Well, your hair shouldn't be the reason for not smiling. And the sweater goes real good with you hair. Party still on? Should I order you a drink?

Thank you! I really like the color! The party was at my grandmothers house and I played with a four year old all night. My ankle is killing me. He took off my boot so I could do airplane rides with him.... little bugger has me wrapped around his finger.

Yeah, I love the photo!

Thank you Dave! :rose:

Sounds like a good time.

I locked my keys in the house around sunset and had to hitch a ride (and walk a bit) to her workplace, about 15 miles away to get her set of keys, and her car. I hadn't hitchhiked in years. Learning experience.

Talk about your evening instead.

My hands were covered in crimson obsession... I didn't want it on my keyboard!

The ever so scary holy heck this shit is gonna be dark step!

Final product

I like it. :)

Ouch. I hope it wasn't too cold!

I agree with Elle:

I stopped to check if a walker was ok on Thursday night ( our roads aren't really that safe to walk on on the dark.....too rural, narrow , high hedges and bends and people driving fast.) .......and he told me off, sweetly, for stopping to check on him. And said he could be anyone and I could be dead by now.

I said well. I wouldn't want anyone run over...it would close a road I use a lot. :D. And he laughed and told me to lock my doors and clear off.

That is priceless. I love it.

Good morning, Elle :)

I stayed up way too late.
Off to sleep. :)

I was picked up by a nice woman with a small dog who had been doing her laundry. She hadn't picked up a hitchhiker in years. I suppose I looked nice, I was holding mug of coffee. We act on appearances. I'm sure there are other folks who might be perfectly nice, as far as she knows, but because they seem to be outsiders, she'd never give them a ride.
I'm happy you checked on the walker. But you never know....

:D

Smile to both of these. The thing with the darker hair, is I have pathetic eyebrows, and what I have of them are dark blonde, and my temples are blonde , which makes me look greying. :D. :D

My temples and the front sections of my hair are not blonde, they really are greying. :)

I'm hoping never to tell the difference.;) Both my parents were greying at my age. :)

I've had stray grey hairs most of my life; they just keep finding new friends and multiplying. At least they're a nice silver grey, so perhaps my hair will be pretty in my old age. My father's hair is a beautiful silver-white, and I wouldn't be unhappy with that. My mother has passed, but she was still only partially grey at the time. It's never really bothered me up until now, but I've been noticing it more. It's still only a little but also more than ever. I'm not sure yet if I'll decide to put color in it or not.
