Thank you Elizabeth! Heels look really funny with the boot I have to wear on my healing right foot. I was going to be naughty and wear my brace and shoes today when I realized, I only brought my left shoes, nothing for my right foot!

Tonight has been very anticlimatic. My friend arrived and much to our dismay her brakes are gone in her car. I mean like totally gone. Not sure what she is going to do about it but we are definitely not venturing to Hurley to the strip clubs in that thing. She was going to borrow another friends car but he is using it so there goes my fun wth friends night.

I went to the casino with my mother for a bit then we came home and I took Cody for a walk. The little butter was so excited. we did 10 blocks tonight. The ankle feels good so he and I are going to do it daily (I did email my dr and ask what my limit is but he has not gotten back to me yet )

Next my loving mother made me a steak dinner and a little later I am meeting some people at the casino we were just at. They are having a band tonight so while mom feeds the machine my friends and I are going to drink some drinks and listen to the music. YaY.... salvaging the evening!

Odie? If that was the name of a beloved pet of yours, okay. Maybe I look like an Odie. Seems to me it was the name of a cartoon character...

Isn't Ashland to Hurley almost a straight shot? But with really high hills?

It sounds like you're still going to have a good night.
 
No brakes never stopped Fred and Barney, but I don't think your foot is up to that.
Glad you were able to salvage the evening though.

Garfield's best dog friend is named Odie... I just like calling you that way better than OralDave! If you do not like it I will cease and desist.... hope you are having a good night.

It's fine. Better than Oral Dave. And it's better than Odell or O.D. Throw in a plain old "Dave" every now and then.

I am doing my big Neal makeup box clean. I clean my brushes more often, but the box gets a swoosh out at this time of year and I make excuses to myself for why I have some make up older than me in total disregard of health and safety guidelines.

The water when one cleans make up brushes is enough to make one reconsider, almost, wearing make up. I guess I don't do it often enough. I have quite a few eyeshadow brushes, so I tend to gather them up over a period of time and do them in a big batch.

I wear make up sometimes, others I will go for a while without it. If I am going out on the lake (which is every possible day I can in the summer) I just forego it because...water. I just went through all my stuff and gave about half of it to the girls I still have too much!

Oh yes. A super busy weekend. Lots and lots accomplished, and yet not enough. :eek:
Worked my butt off yesterday, and we went for a nice hike with the family today. We just finished watching the last two Harry Potter movies.

I wanted to say I really like the new hair color. How did the family like it?

Sorry about the mess up with the car. That really sucks. :(
