Some good and some that cannot hammer a nail... as a young draughtsman, I learned that the Euro-trained ones actually had an IDEA about practical construction and actual utility...

Show me an engineer with knowledge and ability in the "mechanics" of his specific discipline.... HE's the one I'll hire.

I've worked with a few. The younger ones tend to be wrapped up in themselves as cyber warriors, but once the P.Eng is out on the job for a few years, he or she often sees the light , in my experience.
