It's 11:20 pm here and I've just finished sorting out my girls' stockings and will be tip-toeing into their bedroom just after midnight to place them at the end of their beds, and I'm feeling VERY Christmassy and just an eensy bit tipsy.

I'll be signing off shortly and doubt I'll be around tomorrow (although I might pop on briefly to say Merry Christmas again ).

So, to everyone here, at the AH, a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

There is nothing that I like better than sitting around an open fireplace, reading. In fact, one of my presents to myself this year was the DVD of a video fireplace.

The neighbour across the hall has already gone to the airport, leaving Muffin, her cat, with me to share my holidays.

Tomorrow morning, I will settle down before a crackling virtual fire in the televison, with Muffin in my lap, while we share in this year’s reading of “A Christmas Carol.”

My Christmas has started too. The eldest has arrived (though he's gone out on the town to meet his mates).

The youngest (and my grand-daughter) are 8 time-zones away, but we're in almost daily touch via the 'net - and sometimes phone - so we know their prezzies have arrived.

But back to you, Lou. I know you've been bad (as well as good) - so you qualify for everything my heart desires for you. On even half of that, you should have a great time!
