Odd nicknames...

Any odd nicknames in your present/past? How did you come about them?

In junior high I was known as "The Microwave". We used to play football at lunch and this was during the time of William "The Refrigerator" Perry. Seeing as how I was only 13 or 14, I was christened by a smaller appliance!

High school it was Gretz, because I was a huge Wayne Gretzky fan (this was in LA and two years before he was traded there). I had an Edmonton Oilers jersey with his name and number and nobody knew what they hell it was. Houston Oilers?

So care to share any of yours?

Not odd, but my passion for martial arts earned me the nickname "Bruce" when I worked heavy construction years ago.

when i was in the air force i picked up the nick name, "bumper jack"....i was around 6'2'' tall, weighed around 125 lbs., wore a size 10 1/2 shoe and modesty won't allow me to discuss the handle....

Hmmm...you sure that's why they called you, "Bruce?"

Razor, PuddyTat, KitKatBar (only once.), Goth (it is still applicable), and Piano. The last one is for two reasons. First off, I tend to sing to myself at odd times, and secondly, I have fingers that are "Piano Player's Fingers" whatever that means.

Umm.. well.. My friends always used to call me Mouse in junior high because I was tiny and very quiet lol

Dusty... Now that is a story...
I was working in a soup kitchen and this stray dog came into the storage room as I was picking up a bag of flour. He grabbed the flour and started playing tug of war with it, with me and stupidly I didn't give up. The bag ripped and we were both totally covered in flour. I was about 11 at the time and this really cute guy walked in and introduced himself. When I went to shake hands I saw how messy I was and said "I'm dusty" meaning covered with flour not my name. LOL... it stuck
