We'll ignore the fact that he has since corrected this to the 47 he meant, and instead I will bet that most folks aren't considering that he is only 2 off of the total, correct? (assuming he would count all 55 that have Secretary of State representatives for as 'states'). I mean technically speaking saying you have been to all 50 states would be incorrect as there are still a number of commonwealths and territories.

Proof that you don't have to be a Republican to have a malaprop. Worthy of teasing, Yes. Meaning anything substantial? No, no more than any other word stumble. Now, if the mistake were to be repeated three or four times, that is different. Or if it is an absolute falsehood.

Examples: McCain landing in Iraq and speaking, accidentally says Iran but is instantly corrected by the General standing next to him and corrects himself... not a big deal. Just being a human.

Hilary spinning a story about dodging sniper fire? That is different.

IMHO, we are talking about an instance of the former in this case, not the latter. Therefore, I disregard it just like I do the McCain mistake.

Naw I was just haveing a bit of fun with the video. Anyone can goof up when your on the road as much as these guys have been. I hae played in bands and been out on that road after awhile you forget where you are, where have been and where your going.

Not really sure who I'll vote for yet.

Actually, according to the federal government and statues, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Virginia and Pennsylvania are states. Their state constitution might say something different, but it is superceded by the national constitution.

I would have to assume it was his campaign staff that 'wouldn't let him' go, and that would be relatively easy to surmise: Alaska hasn't voted for a Dem president since '64, and Hawaii, beyond being expensive and time consuming for a relatively small number of electoral votes, could be considered a lock given their historical voting record (Nixon and Reagan being the only Republican's to win the state since it's entrance to the union)

Or what they are trying to do to Gov. Palin now?
