In an interview with Stephen Moore of the Wall Street Journal, newly re-elected House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) opened up about President Obama’s utter unwillingness to cut a single dollar from federal spending. In a stunning admission, Obama reportedly told Boehner, “We don’t have a spending problem.”

Boehner added that President Obama continues to maintain that America’s federal deficit is caused not by governmental overspending but by “a health-care problem.” Said Boehner, “They blame all of the fiscal woes on our health-care system.” Boehner told Obama, “Clearly we have a health-care problem, which is about to get worse with Obamacare. But, Mr. President, we have a very serious spending problem.” Obama eventually replied, “I’m getting tired of hearing you say that.”

with that remark obama has become completely irrelevant.
cut congressional pay and perks. including obama's. cut the military. shut down ALL overseas bases, bring all troops home. dismantle homeland security. stop giving money to other countries.
that's a start. but of course, i'm an anarchist. i don't believe in government. it's a waste of time, money, and resources.

And you know it's a real quote whenever...

A blogger said...
that someone said...
that someone said Obama said something behind closed doors.

That's way more than start, that would probably put us on track to a balanced budget. Except the congressional pay cut thing wouldn't have a meaningful impact. And we'd be dropping our pants for terror attacks that might jack up the economy and end up costing us more than we saved in homeland security cuts.

The LitPublicans have been gracious losers in these past two elections.

Emphasis on "losers".
