Obviously I wish him luck but he'll have the same problem his predecessor had, the Upstate Senators. We have the same problem in Cal, the Sacramento Valley! Oh, and the inner cities, of course.

Yup but at least he's trying. One day one of them will get through

30 States have had elections and 30 States rejected same sex marriage.

That should tell you something.

It says nothing except that Karl Rove was able to fool some of the people all of the time.....The day is coming when our children.....Well, mine, I'm not sure if you should have any, will make this decision for all of us and they don't see it as an issue.......
That's a fact.....the ones who do are spiritually stunted types who never knew Christ anyway...........My God isn't the kind you have to wind up on Sunday.......

The Usual Suspects swoon over Pixley, Hooterville, Mayberry, and Green Acres approving same-sex marriage, but they cant seem to enlist any state that has more people than mules.

One step closer: State Assembly passes bill. The bill is now enroute to the State Senate. If it passes the Senate, the Governor has made it clear he will sign it.
Damn, that was fast! Let's hear it for New York! I mean, I think I appreciate the speed of this as much as the attempt. But then our State Senate is so partisan and divided that it takes them forever to pass anything, especially if it has to do with money.

...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand another one!

Woohoo!! Well done New York.

If this keeps up, there might even be a chance for the wife and I to be married in USA as well as here. *fingers crossed*.

Not quite yet. The Senate is where the bill was killed in '07 as well. We shall see...
