Posted a story about a month ago, it was denied because I linked to my Patreon. So I figured okay, well, I actually had a couple ideas I wanted to change anyway. If the story had been posted, then I wouldn’t have bothered, but since it was rejected, I decided to rewrite it. So I moved it to draft folder while I worked on it.

Couple days later it’s then posted for some reason. Kind of annoying but maybe they thought that I didn’t know what I was doing.

So I hurried up with the rewrites and sent in an update. I understand edits are low priority but I figured since it was a mistake on their part they might be willing to expedite it for me given the situation.

Nope. It’s been 3 weeks since I posted the updated draft and I’m almost at the point where I’d rather this story just be deleted and it just won’t be available on Lit. It bothers me knowing that 90% of the people who will read this story have read an inferior draft when a better one has existed the whole time. Especially when I un submitted it and moved it to my draft folder

I get mistakes happen, that’s fine. I just thought a little more effort would’ve been put into fixing things
That's not making much sense. If the story was rejected, it was taken out of the queue and sent back to you.

You're the only person who can resubmit from your drafts folder. It sounds to me that you've accidentally submitted the story, it got published, and you now have to submit an edit. I can't see why the site would go back and look at something that's been rejected.

There's a bug that's been ongoing for months because the site doesn't care enough to fix it. What happens is for whatever reason the site doesn't see it in the que to publish. Remove it and republish it again. But keep in mind an edit will take a week or so regardless
