Mr E Twat was the night before, but he was OK, thankfully. He was at last night's dinner too, but I didn't really speak to him, he was elsewhere on a big table of twelve. One of them was someone I've been working remotely with on and off for more than a decade, meeting him finally in person was cool!

It's not 'no', it's more 'not yet'... I like to do it to my man (if he's up for it), and since usually he cums properly just once at the end of a session, edging him first gives him some rather lovely 'pre-orgasms', and I think probably increases the intensity when he does finally cum.
