Looking very festive, Lady Numi ;)

Thank you, papadoc! Not long now... are you wearing your Christmas hat yet? :)

Went out on my bicycle on Saturday and saw loads of cyclists in festive garb, including one guy with a robin on his helmet, and another in full Santa getup including a huge white beard! Think I must have missed a memo, I felt quite underdressed!

Feeling a bit grim today... :( Not any kind of self-inflicted over-indulgence, just general bleuch...

Clearly not often enough, since I'd forgotten it was in there! It also went off once when my bag was at my feet in the back seat of a car in which I was a passenger. I'm not sure whether my fellow passenger realised what it was

one should try to change that need for a quick fix... wishing I was said passenger :)

What can we do to make you feel better? :rose:

Aw, thank you for asking, lovely man

I've just woken up, feeling somewhat better today, thank you, which is just as well as I'm going out for a Christmas lunch with friends today, and I don't want to be the wet blanket all crumpled and limp in the corner. I don't think I'll be dancing on any tables, mind

I do have to dress for dinner out shortly, but I'm going to be wearing trousers (since I'm walking there), so it won't be anything challenging underneath. Just a nice black set and a little black cami.

Tomorrow, though. Might wear my new corset under my frock for the party. Or the red silky set. Can't decide. What do you think?

I love the feel of structured satin and silk against my skin; although, new corsets can be... unruly.

I like the hourglass shape that a corset promotes. And the pushing up of the breasts into costume-drama-worthy globes

I'm worried about 'unruly', though. I think you need to tell us more. I'm worried to go out in public in mind now

Went out for a lovely Christmas lunch with friends earlier this week. I'd recovered sufficiently from my post-weekend lurgy to order a locally-produced gin for my aperitif. Isn't it lovely? :)

Blueberries and a slice of blood orange. Gorgeous.

Thanks for your kind comments on Men in Kilts, looking at your "office" pic makes me think we need to nip back to my office during the party and take down a few..... notes ;)

You're very welcome, Mac, you are so swoon-worthy in you Bonnie Prince Charlie... *happy sigh*

I think we should try the conference room, I've heard there's a big table in there... ;)

*grabs you by the hand and leads you down the darkened corridor*

Merry Christmas, Numi...hope Santa was good to you and the Mister :D

And a Merry Christmas to you too, papadoc, I hope you had a lovely day.

We have had gale force winds over here the last few days, and I worried that we might lose power, but it was fine. Nearly got blown off our feet on the walk to the pub, though, wow, it was windy!

Turkey sandwiches all round today, I think!

How the Anglais carry on! I got DNA for Christmas; I am 65% Brit!

Ooh, 65% British. That's very precise. :) Which part? (Of Britain... :D)

Now let's see. That entitles you to have tea made with boiling water, with the correct amount of milk in it, and to join in debates about whether the milk goes in first... ;)

Thank you...I did...:)

Has the weather calmed down there? :rose:

Hello, lovely man! :rose:

Yes, calmer now, although a gorgeous hard frost this morning, all the fields were a beautiful pristine frozen white. I'd have taken some pics, but I was desperate to get on the road to my secret, sexy Welsh retreat for the week, where I intend to get dressed for only one of two reasons: (1) if we run out of wine or chocolate and need to go on an emergency shopping expedition, or (2) to titilate my man with naughty lingerie

I'm glad you had a nice Christmas. Do you have any exciting plans for seeing in the New Year?

No...will probably spend it watching the football playoffs here...:)

Ohhhhhhh what was it?! The local gin I mean? Looks lovely!
I recently discovered pink/red grapefruit in my gin and I'm hooked. But I love finding locally made stuff - bought a few bottles from a craft fayre before Christmas. Yummy! 😍
