1, 4, 27, 256, 3125, 46656, 823543, 16777216, 387420389

1 to the first, 2 to the second, 3 to the third, 4 to the fourth, 5 to the fifth, 6 to the sixth, 7 to the seventh, 8 to the eighth, and 9 to the ninth.

You really love your math, don't you, Bri? :p

9 - the universal number. Take any three-digit number, reverse it, subtract one from the other and reduce it. You always end up with 9. ;)

3-The number of times I had to take Statistics in college before I passed it and got my degree. :D

11,000 = My current post count.

More fun with numbers

123456789 - the square root to the fourth decimal point is 11111.1111.

More fun

1 squared is 1
11 squared is 121
111 squared is 12321
1111 squared is 1234321
11111 squared is 123454321
111111 squared is 12345654321
1111111 squared is 1234567654321

The Trinity

3 - The trinity, father, son, and holy ghost. Heaven, hell, and earth. Our birth, our life, our death.

3 is a fascinating number. The third number, and the third prime.

In keeping with squares, I offer this,

3 squared=9
33 squared = 1089
333 squared = 110889
3333 squared = 11108889
33333 squared = 1111088889
333333 squared = 111110888889
3333333 squared = 11111108888889

The pattern seems to repeat, at least as far as 333,333,333, the number of 1's at the start can be expressed as (number of digits-1) then a 0, a series of 8's equal to (the number of digits-1) and ending with a 9.
