In any case, your assuming that I looked down on you because you are a teacher has no relation to your argument that placing so much importance on standardized testing is bunk. You can say that you are not defensive, but defending onself from a perceived yet non-existant attack is pretty much my definition of someone's being "defensive".

Furthermore, I charge you with defending Bush's intellect merely because you like the man. I am perfectly willing to admit that some Republicans are brilliant. Hell, I don't know much about Jeb, but he is obviously smarter than his brother. However, it's hard for me to accept that reasonable people can honestly insist that Bush is an erudite man. It's incomprehensible.

I don't have a copy of any of my standardized test scores. They served their purpose to get me into the programs i wanted in. After that, they were worth as much as any other miscellaneous papers.

This is at least the third time tonight that I have pointed this out:

I did not bring up Bush's SAT score!

JazzManJim brought it up way back there. Ask him why he thought it was important. He was trying to imply that it was good enough for Yale; I disagreed.


Again, it is the vacant expression on his (Bush's) face, his ignorance of basic facts (like the names of world leaders, the location of countries, etc., and, yes, his malapropisms) that have convinced me that the man is no scholar.
