Can at least one if his kiss ass 'yes-men' tell him how to pronounce the fucking word?

And we won't even go into the word 'penninsula'.

Go ahead - correct my spelling - you should now I don't care to give a flying shit.

Look, I have trouble pronouncing certain words too. People who can't come up with something more substantial to criticize about a person other than their pronunciation (or spelling) of a word are just pathetic.

Sparky some Texans have trouble saying certain words.

The first time my wife heard me say "firetower", It took me five minutes to explain what a "far-tarer" was.

And her another five minutes to stop laughing.:D

Don't even think about explaining about changing the "all" in the car!!:D

Also i am a country boy.

Yeah, but the Bush family hasn't been Southern that long, and he did go to Yale for God's sake. I think he may do it delibrately to sound homey.

I think the Dixie Chicks should be invited to sing the next State of the Union.

That reminds me, the "Chicks" will be on SNL Feb 8th. They sounded great at the superbowl.

My grandfather is from Kentucky, the first time he sent me to the auto parts store to buy gear "all", it took me an hour to figure out what it was he wanted.

I think they might. Personally I want to see Kermit the Frog deliver the next state of the Union.

Yeah but...

I'm not criticizing a 'person,'...

I'm criticizing the/our president.

And presidents - as should be differentiated from 'just' people...

should know how to pronounce their own fucking language.

Yeah, I make mistakes, I can't spell - but then again - I'm not the fucking president.

My conclusion is that GWB is no better than me...

And that's fucking scary.

One has to wonder what the sparky solution would be to some of our problems.

Remember no matter what the man does or talks about, he is going to catch hell.

Umm dude... what is scary is that you can't seem to find anything more scary about the president to be scared about. Or at least you can't seem to elucidate anything more scary.

Think about it.

He was too busy studying to pick up any of those damn Yankee verbal ticks.

No, that's America. The President isn't supposed to be perfect.

EXACTLY if all yall can do is pound the man for the way he speaks yall are sad...speaking as someone from the south but has lived all over...I will be the first to tell ya sometimes I feel the need to spell things for ppl in hopes they get what I said correct it can be downright irritating to know that someone looks down on me or thinks I am less educated then they are because of the way I may pronucate or spell a word...but this is just my humble opion...besides there's alot more important things going on in the world to worry about at the moment.

I went to elementary and middle school in the South, I can speak English properly. I lived in GA for God's sake, and my English is fine, not perfect, but certainly not as God-awful as our fanatical leader.
And your point is??

Look, like I said, some people, even people who are native english speakers, especially men, have problems with some pronunciations - I do (yes, sometimes I even have problems "with nuclear").

So, does this mean they are any less proficient at their jobs? If they are a brainless idiot talking head on the network news then yeah, they are less proficient at their jobs. But I care less about how a president pronounces nuclear than how he thinks about nuclear.

Oh, but there's so much more.
