They are trying to get games posted to YouTube removed. They say they want to grow rugby league around the world, what better way that posting games on the internet? Most people in the world have never seen rugby league before.

Lots of rugby union games are posted. Super Rugby doesn't seem to have a problem with their games being uploaded (not live of course, but afterward). What's the NRL's prob?
 
Don't you think it's about money? If they are posted there instead of TV etc. how can they get sponsors. MONEY!

Read the original post, its about posting the games AFTER they are shown on TV. There is no reason, say, a couple weeks after the game it can't be posted.

I don't understand why every sport doesn't post its past games to its website. The music industry has given up trying to stop music posting because in the end there is no real net loss to the bottom line, free stuff actually increases the amount of paid product watched / listened to.
