Now why is it that in the anti-war rhetoric

The War Mongerer Blair and the Restore the Old World Order crowd in England keep getting a free pass? They're in on it too! ...

Actually, most of Europe is jumping on the bandwagon. Apparently the thought of suitcase sized weapons of mass destruction getting in through diplomatic pouches was unsettling.

I like how Schroeder made it an issue in Germany when the odds of Germany actually participating, let alone being asked to participate were nil. "I won't send Germans into war in Iraq!" No one asked him to...

MissInformation:
Envoys from the White House have been racking up their frequent flyer miles by visiting EVERY European capital, trying to whip up support for the American's war. So he WAS asked. Several times.

Schröder's Justice Minister pissed off the States by comparing Bush's tactics to Hitler's. Normally, the White House shrugs and says, "where's Germany?", but this time Ari Fleischer and Rumpledsfeld were categorical in their "disappointment".

Europe is decidedly against intervention. It's headline news every day over here. It's the US/UK alliance and not much else.

Have fun in the sand.

He was asked to support. Not hand over a division of troops. Support does not equate with participation in fighting.

au contraire
he said that Germany would take NO part in any military intervention, in any way. "Sending Germans into Iraq" was not the phrased used in the recent election campaign.

The yanks asked, he said no. As have a growing number of European states. If it was France that said it, it wouldn't have been noticed. But Germany, that caused waves.

Yes. ''Support'' US so desparately wants/needs. Bush says they'll go it alone. Tony gives ''Support''.

I'll watch where ''We'll go alone'' schtik leads to on telly. It's much funnier than watching repeats of Friends.

After 30+ years of the same repeated behavior, hijacking planes, cruise ships, taking hostage civilians, members of the press, athletes, oftentimes murdering them, bombings, shootings, threats of even more powerful weapons to come...

At what point do you admit that negotiations have failed, that this is nothing more than an escalation of robbing passive pilgrams on the way to Mecca? Each time that we do not bloodily bash them over the head plants the seeds of future, similar attacks.

Tony Blair has come to the realization that the only peace in this region is going to be the enforced peace of Rome...

Pax Brit'Merica...

KM, just admit it. Schroder Rocks. I've been pumped about him winning since Sunday.

Then it's really going to hurt you when once safely elected, he begins to soften his position and gradually begins to lean towards a more European-led action against Saddam just to make sure they get German business interests ensconced before American business interests can get established in the Liberated land of Iraq...

I mean if it's really about control of world resources.

A historical German interest.

Excuse me. I did not mean to say German interests. I meant the NHRE (EU for the newbies...).

Yea, let's see the world go ''Smoke Screen''. Over-population problem solved. Much less polution, extinction of species, etc. The Ozone layer is recovering. I'll find my ''Crow'' and get zigie-zigie with her. Woohoo!

I didn't realize there was an overpopulation problem outside of Israel...

The big problem with population estimates, is that they're so damn subjective!

Palestinians are upset about the environmental consequences of a Jewish overpopulation in Israel, Israel is worried about the ability of the local ecosystem to withstand such large numbers of Palestinians. The US has been warning about communist overpopulation at home and abroad for decades, but is now the US feels those populations are no longer relevant, and are much more concerned that the Arab population may be exceeding the carrying capacity in the Middle East (it's backtracking like this that destroy's your scientific credibility you know). Meanwhile many Arabs feel that the American population is far too free-ranging, and the introduction of Americans is threatening the survival of the local fauna. Really, how can anyone be expected to sort it out from all this conflicting information!

So that's why the Arabs want to kill Israeli's eh, Spin... Liebensraum. (Next time get the crib notes from Cry so you don't become the set-up guy for the punchline...)

Thesis meets antithesis creates...

Spin, the bastard creation on SIN and p_p_, Sp_p_INaroonie...

I didn't say anything about Arabs and Jews.

I'm just saying there's gonna be 10 Billion people by 2010. Lot of mouths to feed.
