And the goal of Russia is Regime stability for the twofold reason:

1. They are making money hand over fist and have a lot invested in the tyrant.

2. They need the instability Saddam brings to the region so they can shut down competing oil suppliers and pipelines.

And therein lies the reason why George is hellbent on war.

The Russians are well in where he would like to be.

Ergo destabalise the region, get the Russians kicked out by popular demand and walk right in...

It's a pity George thinks that no-one else knows what he's doing...

The Chinese are pumping up Iran and Pakistan too...

They are allied to crush the US and are using the region as a tool in their long-term strategy (their advantage over the west, especially with the politically divided America getting weaker and weaker). This axis is also using the UN and France as tools to further thwart Peace in the region. This Axis will next turn on the EU having no love for it either.
