Now that "Chicago" is bringing back the filmed B'way musical, they need some remakes

Start with "Paint Your Wagon". Move on to "Hello Dolly". And, please, God, "A Chorus Line". These are my requests. See that they are followed.

Oh, and Barbara Streissand isn't allowed to direct any of them.

I can't wait to see "Chicago" when it comes out in the
movies!!!

I really do enjoy the old movie musicals........esp. "42nd
Street", "West Side Story", and "The Music Man". :)

Plus it would be nice to see some more movie musicals
back in the theatre again...........

I'd kinda like to see a modernized Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Something a little dark and edgy.

I'd love to see a remake of Guys and Dolls. Corny I know, but still.

A remake of Mame would be great, though I never liked the musical nearly as much as the original I think it could be great now that Lucielle Ball can't star in it. She was so WRONG for that part.

Hmm. Not a Broadway musical. Still, that would be interesting. An updated, "Seven Brides". Could work.

That was on the other day. Great flick.

I love musicals. They should not remake Singin in the Rain. They couldn't make it any better.

"How To In Buisness Without Even Trying"

A great show that sets the story straight on starting in the mail room.

But that movie was perfect. I'm talking about great Broadway shows that were made into movies that sucked. Liked "Bye, Bye Birdie" (except for Anne Margaret).

They remade that for TV. With the exception of Jason Alexander is SUCKED OUT LOUD.

Has anyone considered the possibility that the movie versions sucked because musicals suck?

You didn't like the filmed version of A Chorus Line?
